I was wrong about it using the same nsec. It creates a whole new one for you. It wasn't very clear in the process. If you create a new account in Amethyst be sure to save your back up key

Well I was wrong, it creates another nsec for each profile. It wasn't very clear, but when you create another profile be sure to save that nsec. I learned the hard way on my new Account I created for my AMSOIL business. I accidentally didn't hit the backup key and then got locked out.

It's not a very clear process. But I have it working now. Just had to create a whole new account. Oh well.

So when you create another account in Amethyst it doesn't give you directly your nsec you have to copy your back up key. I just tried it with a test account so I know I can get back in. This wasn't clear when I created the other account as I thought it was all created under one nsec since I didn't have to log in or anything.

We'll get the hang of this one day.

On #amethyst you can create a new account using the same nsec and toggle back and forth between them which is really cool. Not sure how messed the the original AMSOIL profile, but I got the new one working perfectly, even set up separate alby address so I can track marketing dollars. Just put 700k worth on that alby address and going to try to use it for adverts.

I think what happened is I created the npub for that account, then deleted it off amethyst and when I tried to add it back using the npub it locked me out. So that's really weird.

I'm not sure how this is support to work. But now with the new one I'm good to go.
