Got that very one, great shave. But my fav was my Edwin Jagger DE89 until I dropped it. Very sad. Using a cheaper Parker now, and it is surprisingly good. Feather blades are the bomb, and the Personna Med preps are a close second.

Thank you. Yes remove the tracking.

The fun part is that it is from 2022, and the price action since then, both up and down, has been wild. I’d love to know what they think now. It is what my buddies used to help me understand. Planning on using it with my family. Enjoy.

Some have found the Bitcoin Island analogy helpful. That is episode 3 of this podcast series. Note, this series is from a Christian perspective, but even if you are not of that persuasion, their explanations in the first 3-4 episodes are excellent. Bitcoin and the Bible. I used Spotify but you can find it lots of places.

You hit on a logical truth. It makes sense. This thought experiment helped me, so take it for what it’s worth. Every system needs an objective standard that exists outside that system against which to measure things. The thermometer or the ruler exist outside the experiment, they have to in order to measure anything. We cannot say anything is good or evil without an objective standard that exists outside of ourselves, exists beyond humanity. You cannot make a value judgement on things that are better or worse, “gooder or eviler.” Otherwise, logically, you are only making a subjective measurement that is just as valid as the one calling the evil thing “good.” Without God defining good or evil, we become the arbiter of good and evil and thus try to make ourselves God. God must be outside of Creation, not a part of all that is, in order to be objective and not defined by the Creation itself. In order for you to call a truly evil thing, evil, which we know exists, there must be an objective good against which to define that evil thing.

I am also a non-dispen myself (Reformed Baptist). Out of curiosity, as a Presbyterian, are you more in the idealist or partial-preterist camp? Some guys in our church are exploring Bitcoin and also discuss the classic Reformed Amil view of Revelation and the resurgence of the partial Preterist and Post Mil views. This certainly makes them more willing to learn about Bitcoin as they are not worried about taking on some satanic mark or losing salvation.

This is always a difficult subject to broach. If this helps, I think a comparison of Rev 13 and Rev 14 is helpful. The context is Deut 6:8, where you are to tie the word of God on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Symbolically, they were to keep the Word close, in their minds and in the actions, as a part of their daily lives. John takes that imagery and applies it to the mark of the Beast, hand and forehead in Rev13:16 symbolically they were to be totally sold out to the evil world system so that no one can participate in their system without it. Then he does the same thing with the Seal of God in Rev 14:1, about the people of God also having His Seal on their hands and foreheads, in their minds and actions. The Mark and Seal are being directly compared to each other. Whatever the Mark is, the Seal is comparable. And the rest of the NT tells us that the Holy Spirit of God is our Seal (Eph 4:30 for example). So, I do not think you have to worry about a barcode or a vaccine, or Bitcoin, that is not what binds you to the evil world system. As the Seal of God is not something you can see or touch, it is internal and on the heart. So the money you use, whether it be dollar or peso or BTC, it is always about the heart. And you have the Seal on your heart, you are His, and called by His name, so you have nothing to fear from a computer code. Worry more about making money an idol, and instead use this money for what He has already said to use it for: His glory, building the Church, funding ministry, raising your family, giving to those in need, etc., those actions are the farthest things from the evil world system. Fiat inflation steals from people, and it creates fake value with no work. That's evil.

I wish I had met my wife earlier in life, gotten married and started my family sooner. Married at 30. Wealth means little when you have no one to pass it on to or build for generations to come. Your spouse is one of the most important decisions you will make. Proverbs13:22, A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children. BTC offers this possibility. Look beyond 5 years, and even beyond 50 years.

The articles on this all say the same, sure they need reforms but the root problem was their “debt brake” on borrowing. A looser fiscal policy and more money printing will save them and bring back Europe’s largest economy to prosperity. Right.

beautiful picture. I have stood right there and taken in the view of the Arch. That inscription on Cathedral in St Louis read, In honor of (or Dedicated to) the One and Triune God. The Hebrew letters above are the YHWH (I AM) form of the name of God. We do not make buildings like that anymore, but we should. Bitcoin analogy, build today for the generations to come, long after you are gone.

Didn’t repost for the zaps. I genuinely enjoyed the documentary. Great analysis by some top physicists and professors.

Regardless of what the writers have become, this is a great movie. And it gets more relevant as we go forward. Outstanding job nostr:npub1h8nk2346qezka5cpm8jjh3yl5j88pf4ly2ptu7s6uu55wcfqy0wq36rpev . Zap him, I didn’t create this masterpiece.
