there once was a lady of Lynn who was so incredibly thin that when she essayed to drink lemonade, she slipped through the straw and fell in
I first heard about it on the Keiser Report, tho. From Max and nostr:npub1pq2ll9l7qdmxsfqyrd5w9gul8c7ftqy9yepcqvc8a2l2ys9zhd6sk42rew
I have to tune Max Keiser tweets out because he's so good at making me feel like I need to move somewhere else.
I need a Ven diagram of what places will survive bitcoinization, the pole shift, this years' elections...
and hopefully have some good bike protected lanes.

In this video, I discuss how Bitcoin hardware wallets can help to guard against a wide range of attacks, including Microsoft's Recall feature, as well as ChatGPT and Apple Intelligence on Apple products.
It's important to store the bulk of your Bitcoin holdings in cold storage using a hardware wallet like the Coldcard or Blockstream Jade.
Any wallet that touches the internet or has touched the internet is much more vulnerable to malware and hackers.

so I recently ordered a blockstream jade and fell for a silly scam. on the same day that the device was being delivered, I received a text from postal service about delivery and I also received a text asking me to update my address and pay 20cents for redelivery.
so the text I answered with my address was not official... so someone now has my address and knows that I was buying a blockstream jade.
i love Rio! I want to go back so bad, and I'm afraid it won't be like I remember from 2010.
sorry to jump in the middle of a thread, not sure what the etiquette is here...
thank you. I am now reading "Bitcoin is Time " by Gigi
responding to : the Bible is laughable
I honestly wish it were. I wish I had a better grasp of other ancient texts to compare them. I hold the Bible in too high regard perhaps from inculcation as a child. I only know Book of Mormon to a certain degree as another religious text. I wonder if Bitcoin is becoming a thing in the Mormon community
was it the book "thank God for Bitcoin" or something else that made the connection for you?
such a pithy statement that has withstood the test of time. I think it may be a kernel for understanding bitcoin
I love the idea that we were more advanced in the past. looking back on today in a few hundred years maybe like us looking back at the dark ages.
thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if it's the bitcoin influence or radio waves beaming in from outer space but I also feel that strange appreciation for Christianity that I didn't have before. it's odd to me because I would normally think an obsession with financial things like Bitcoin should be a distraction from religion/spirituality but the two seem to make room for each other somehow.
how or why did it bring you closer to God?
opportunist optimistically selling things. so many roads lead to intelligence
he has the common sense that anything not harmful that is made in the USA and sold globally is a net positive for the USA.
oh I see the concern, especially if the serfs are subject to usury on their fake money granted to them by the overruling lords who hoarded the hard money out of sight and mind.
I was thinking about the contrast of locking Bitcoin away forever with establishing foundations with wealth.
This may be unfounded conspiracy, but let's just say for example: in the early part of the last century, the Carnegie Foundation helped standardize medical education under the preview of the American Medical Association. That served to remove a lot of snake oil salesmen, as well as homeopathic doctors. The American Medical Association oversaw who was allowed to practice and conveniently cigarettes were advertised as even good for you...
so while I appreciate the Carnegie libraries, I'm worried about the zombie foundations by which well-intentioned dead donors could be piloting civilization
I'm looking up the antidotes to Midas syndrome as I plan to be prescribed at some point
another way I think of this is as follows: he is the most visible CEO figure in Bitcoin, and selling his or donating it is akin to a CEO selling their stock. it rugs the shareholders and reduces our faith in the asset he promotes. but I'm relatively new here so he was the best marketer to me
odd, I'll have to check out his face... I only understood Bitcoin after all of his metaphors. I I figured that his sharing his understanding on podcasts was volunteering his time and energy, and that was a gift.
I guess I was expecting everyone to have some by then
