It was all open source. The only thing that wasn't was OXT, but that was run by someone else with funding from Samourai.

Many people have the code. The issue is not code but people and hostile governments.

Ashigaru has popped up, with a fork of the codebase. No whirlpool or Atomic Swaps yet but a functional version of the Wallet code.

Probably happened to enemies of the state being targeted with something like Pegasus, but I'd say any such theft would have been a tertiary goal of such an attack. Most such attacks are primarily done for intelligence gathering and stealing from the target would alert them.

Most losses I've seen from Sparrow group are people entering their seed into a scam website, after messaging for support and getting an impersonator DM'ing them.

Also had some users rolling their own entropy incorrectly. Then an automated process eventually sweeps the funds from the low entropy seed.

This has happened before. New unregulated betting market that lets US people bet on US election pops up. FBI let it be until after election, then shut it down afterwards.

Bought fitted sheets, must be short Bitcoin

I feel like Bitcoin shouldn't compare against individual companies but rather against the whole stock market.
