Personally, I would love to see NIP-65 integration to handle relay list metadata.

Some clients will handle relays differently. Most will read your relay preferences automatically that you've likely set in your existing client.

#[0] alpah release of the Plasma client looks great!

Ahem, and what is wrong with being cattle?

Happy to help make sense of anything if it sounds like gibberish.

As others mentioned, it is not tied to any cryptocurrency or blockchain. Apps can be made without any mention of Bitcoin at all, we're just the biggest co-hort of early adopters, so many of the clients have been built by the Bitcoin community or have catered to us.

Oh, I'm sure it can be. Some (few) clients require you to create a passphrase to encrypt your nsec at least.

I forget which client did this, but when the user's following count is zero (rightly or wrongly), a warning could pop-up if the user is trying to publish a Kind 3 event asking them if this really is their first follow.

It's not the most elegant solution but it could prevent people from overwriting their contacts.

Yeah sometimes I can't find people I'm following as well, but if I close the app and re-open, it might work. It's not a very polished search function yet 🫤

Works. I'm not sure if it shares the code as the search tab, but I find it's hit or miss.
