Nope, no success for me either. I did not receive the DM.

Looks like a 'Login with Nostr' option is available at [vida.page](https://vida.page). It uses your pubkey + relay that you are connected to, to send you a verification code through a DM (I haven't received mine yet). But it's an interesting application that I was waiting for.

More detailed discussion here: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/issues/154

🀣 was trying out the 'custom' function. Sent you another 100 sats.

Cool! glad it worked for you.

Usually for security purposes it's better to just provide the CORS header permission to ~/.well-known/lnurlp so that GET/HEAD https methods are called only there.

Depending on what else you run on your web server it might be secure to add that. Even otherwise, I usually prefer giving only very specific access and HTTP methods.

Done, works fine πŸ€™βš‘οΈ

Thank you! Glad you found it of good use. πŸ˜„πŸ€™πŸ€™

πŸ€™ πŸ€™ Nice! Good to see you verifying what the extensions do as per NIP-07.

Thank you, I've added those in the benefit and limitations for those extensions in my existing guide here - https://orangepill.dev/nostr-guides/guide-nostr-key-generation-and-management/

Nice work! Updated and love the new DM request tab

Yes! Hey πŸ‘‹

Good night! πŸŒ™

I'll write a guide to configure site access to 'read and change all data' for Nos2x, Nos2x-fox and Alby extensions to only restricted or user defined list of websites for Chrome and Firefox.

I agree, but I am not aware if that's possible.

But I know it's possible the other way. BIP-85 is one such example of generating deterministic entropy child seeds from a master seed which can then be converted to a hex/npub for Nostr.

#[0] I noticed that I was able to add a duplicate relay (my own relay - wss://nostr.orangepill.dev) to my profile by visiting another user's profile who has it added. The 'Add' button was visible on that other user's profile despite me already having that relay on mine. Once added, it shows up as a duplicate and I am unable to remove it. I have configured 14 relays in my settings in Damus, but I see 15 on my profile.

You're welcome.

Also, if you forgot your Alby extension unlock password, no worries, the nostr private key is associated with your Alby account (the email and password sign in).

Type in an incorrect unlock password and click forgot and reset. It'll then let you setup a new unlock password and you will need to once again login using your Alby account. After doing that, go back into Alby settings and click 'generate'. I noticed that it'll just generate the same private key in hex/bech32(nsec) as it did previously.

It also mentions here on this page: "Your nostr key is generated from the private key of your node, which means you won't have to worry about losing access to your keys. As long as you have access to your connected account, you can easily regenerate your nostr key anytime you need it."
