I don’t think it is censorship but a punishment. In censorship, there is no option to choose but you can choose your options that stay honest or act dishonest behaviour to be punished. This is up to spammers

Here is what my thought:

Let spam = spammer’s posting in A’s Note comment

Let spam1 = spammer’s posting in B’s Note comment

Let spam2 = spammer’s posting C’s Note comment

If spam=spam1: give him waiting time before commenting in B’s

If spam and/or spam1=spam2: give him more waiting time before commenting in C’s

If spam=/=spam1 but being reported by someone, then give waiting time to commenting and posting Note.

Awesome! We can’t see that kind of innovation on centralized social media but on Nostr

Ah I see. Thank you for clarifying

Can explain me more what filter mean in Nostr? Like his/her content can only be seen by few (just like reduce the content visibility in traditional social media?)

I think Muting someone is ‘hiding someone from my Note’

But blocking someone is ‘completely removing from my Note’

By muting someone, u can see him/her in some way, but not in blocking. That’s what I thought, maybe I am wrong

It doesn’t mean censor.

Let’s say there are some spammers in my comments.

So I report them, and check by protocol level ( idk maybe delayers or nodes) if they are really spammers/scammers or not,

if so, then punish. Otherwise, no punish.

That’s what I did mean

Ah sorry, I didn’t see that. Hope in the near future there will be punishment for spammer who are no good for community but also Nostr

How about adding Report feature that let users report that kind of spammers and punish them ?

Not only ‘Mute’ button but also ‘Block’ button
