Ah, I suspected that might be your answer. Well, this global is a hell of a lot less exclusive (considering paid relays are really cheap) compared to the old blue check rules at twitter that were just reserved for celebrities and large company accounts 🤷🏼♂️
Perhaps folks can default to paid only but also click on an official verified (NIP-05) as well if they want to see broader? At least the initial [free] step of NIP-05 is something.
