Mine drains even after restricting SimpleX. Which Pixel model are you running GrapheneOS on?

nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx has too much faith in Signal. Once you start linking devices/desktops you'll quickly learn messages are never deleted. Disappearing messages does not work if you have the setting enabled on one linked device and not the other.

Concur with the first point, not too sure about the second. Regardless, XMPP the standard. Who needs normies? Keep it niche.

Guess I'm not a "user".

Say what you want about fancy SimpleX, Signal or Matrix, nothing beats the simplicity and snappy workflow of XMPP. Change my mind.

The FBI yesterday increased the reward for information leading to Dr. Ruja’s (Missing CryptoQueen from OneCoin ponzi) arrest: from $250,000 to a whopping $5 million. The joint highest reward of anyone on their Ten Most Wanted list.

Don't learn the hard way.

Refuse dystopia. Solarpunk can happen now.

It's... Europe! #europestr

Aristotle defined what sound money is ~350 B.C., and it includes fungibility. It's noteworthy that privacy is a result of fungibility. Fungibility is, in fact, a fundamental part of actual sound money. There is no second best, Laura. 😉

Physical SIM cards? No way. Silent link eSIM and jmp.chat VoIP number with SMS/MMS support and your XMPP client of choice. All day.

Further to nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9's comment on cell phones -

LessEMF is a odd but incredibly useful site I've been using their

products since the mid '00s for EMF Shielding.

Also - avoid headsets witih bluetooth in them. All that too close to the head can be bad in the long term. I still use old skool wired headphones for exactly this.

Shame most new phones do not come with a 3.5mm audio jack, seems like all are moving towards bluetooth earbuds/headphones.
