i'll post some defnitions i think i know, and after that there is a list of things i do not know

- torrenting: a protocol that allows multiple users to send the same file to someone else splitting the network cost across all the seeders

- seeders: people that have already downloaded a file and is making it available to others

- leechers: originally i thought it was users that downloaded a file and never seeded, but lately i've seen it as that+users that still havent finished downloading the file

- tracker: a server that connects clients to seeders. keeps track of who is seeding

- indexer: a server that works as an addressbook or search engine to find torrents

- torrent file: a file that points to a file in a tracker.

i do not know these:

- magnet link / file

- debrid

- what are private trackers? (and why do people use them?)

- what is usenet? do people use it INSTEAD of torrent? what is the difference

En cuanto a lo del incentivo económico, creo que no te entendí o no me hice entender. No digo que no pueda haber un incentivo para guardarlo para siempre, solo digo que por lo que leí, los relays aveces pierden información así que no hay que confiarse y hay que hacer backup externos

Atencion que nostr no es para siempre. Tengo entendido que los relays tienen la tendencia de perder notas, y olvidar seguidores. No tienen incentivo económico para almacenar vídeos de forma indefinida. Blockchain es la mejor forma de guardar algo para siempre, pero guardar vídeos es muy caro, y el truco de ipfs no sirve para hacer backup.

Find one of the most common ones like Linux mint or ubut. Those are the safer bet. If you don't like it move to another one that do not have the things you didn't like

Data vending machine. Its a kind of like an interface between users and some bots you have to send a job request for them to work and the job request can include lighting payment. I think the idea was that you could have a data marketplace like "bots that generate images" and then you can list them all, see their price and send a job request. But I think its not practical
