Our rainy season ended with a boom...
Here's a little proof of rain from the "desert"....
San Miguel is the common name for the vine with fluorescent pink flowers.
The mesquite, Terrote, elephant tree and roads all greened up.
That large mesquite looked dead for many years, roots exposed and then this year it comes back to life. True survivors out here.

No good video by me but this year there was more coverage than ever. From in car streaming of the entire race with drones n helicopters from the air...still going on as this year a 50hr limit for the last ones to arrive on into tomorrow morning.
Iron man (1 rider entire race) motorcycle riders still at it 31 hours of riding!!!

Baja 1000 started 6 hours ago and some motorcycles may in Ensenada in another 7 hrs! Averaging over 100mph the entire course, starting at 1am.

Baja 1000 off road race is running today as of 1am motorcycle start this morning in La Paz on their 1300 rugged miles to Ensenada..
