Those who would trade liberty for security deserve neither.

The biggest mistake of any Western society in the 21st century is that feminist activists are taken seriously. Now they are tailoring our laws regarding democratic processes, work, entrepreneurship... We have allowed people who have not moved mentally since kindergarten to tailor our rules of life and work, to draw up regulations. What could possibly go wrong?

Everyone likes to hear the truth, as long as that truth doesn't conflict with their deeply held beliefs. Then suddenly it's an attack.

Imagine owning zero #Bitcoin

Spain destroyed more than 256 dams between 2021 and 2022, "to restore the natural course of rivers", in order to comply with UN Agenda 2030.

But no, the flooding is a result of "climate change".

Regardless of everything, we live in the best times, everything is available to us and we can do everything. The only question is what we focus our attention on...

I remember it as it was today when bank analysts in 2020-2021. were saying that inflation will be around 2 percent per year, because

a) the ECB (and elsewhere) have smart guys who know what they're doing and they won't let it go any higher

b) if inflation were higher than that, it would, history showed, meant social unrest, and possibly some more severe earthquakes.

Translated, it's fine for the banking oligarchy to transfer your money into their pockets, rob you of your savings and lower your wages, but you have to be careful not to rob too much - because there's a point when the mob goes crazy and heads start rolling, as has already happened in history.

These days, the same analysts complain that democracy is on the defensive...

"Everyone wants to live at the expense of the state. But the truth is that the state lives at the expense of everyone."

- Frederic Bastiat, "The Law" (1850)

I don't do that anymore.

This whining in Europe over the democratic victory of Trump is pitiful and pathetic

European politics would like America to defend them in order to build a wasteful welfare state, it would like clean electric cars, but for the dirty production of lithium to be somewhere else, and it would like cheap gas from the Russian dictator, but for energy-enriched Russia not to be a threat.

What I look like when I'm having a bad day, but good people on Nostr donate 50 zaps to a meme I stole somewhere.... 🙏

It's hard to accept, but challenges, troubles, obstacles, difficulties, problems and often times suffering are necessary to grow.

No training can make up for a bad #diet, just as no diet can make up for a lack of #exercise.

It's amazing to me how the socialist media - and that means: all the media 😁 - after the US elections, started spreading rumors that "billionaires are running politics" now.

Guardian, even its readers, leftists themselves, warned in their comments that the Democrats and their candidate had several times more donations from various billionaires and that out of the ten richest people in America, eight or nine of them were probably on Kamala's side.

Practically the only exception is Elon, but of course he bothers them the most. Why didn't he, like all his billionaire buddies, donate to the Democrats, so that the ratio instead of 5:1 was 10:1? Give us all the money, so that we can cry better that we lost to "big money".

Imagine you have several times more money in the campaign - I don't even bother to google how much exactly - you get all possible billionaires and celebrities on your side, and then you blame it on "big money".

As one character wrote to them - stop pretending that "big money" won, only "big money" that you don't like won.

Kamala's campaign crushed over a billion dollars and ended up with losses. How do you think such people would lead the politics of some, any country, when for them the budget and for their own campaign is simply something that has no limits, you take, you spend, who cares.

Jeff Bezos is also "theirs", the only thing he has done, out of some reasonable amount of caution, is that he has forbidden his newspaper, the Washington Post, to endorse anyone. The rest were only neutral, but even that had already caused anger. How dare you be neutral!

The Guardian explains that Trump's victory brought "64 billion" to the ten richest people, and of course they illustrate it with a picture of Musk, not, say, Bill Gates. This angers them, they despise the rich and money (except when they donate to their campaigns several times more than to their opponents).

But... of those ten, the vast majority were for Kamala; Musk from the picture is the only exception. Elon, if anything, risked the most of them all.

And more importantly, and why I'm even writing this status - Trump's victory has so far brought EVERYONE who owns even a ridiculous amount of #Bitcoin, stocks or shares in a fund, because ALL stocks are up! The business sector is clearly "bullish" about this change of administration. This is precisely why you should invest wisely, and not whine about how "the richest" made money. You could make money too!

Everyone made money, even me. Damn rich, right? Imagine, from some small country, you can make money in the American elections? And I'm not even talking about betting, just market growth. Well, isn't that, in fact, sensational?

Of course, those who own mountains of shares have earned the most so far, i.e. billions, and us poor people only some ridiculous figures, but when commenting on these phenomena, one should be honest and strive to share useful information with the readers. The media doesn't, because for the last 5 years they have NEVER been honest, or they are simply too stupid to understand how things are going down - I even believe the second option more. I said what I said.
