And let's never envy others, because the outside is almost never an indicator of the true state and the brutal truth, and believe that everyone carries their own cross.
We live our lives because everyone else is already busy, but considering that we have so much work to do on ourselves, I really don't know how we would have time for anyone else's lives...

Macron invited 0 representatives from Eastern Europe to his "anti-meeting" (anti because he is in defiance of Trump). So he complains that Trump doesn't give a damn about him, but he does the same to EU members. He won't even ask Poland and Slovakia, who are closest to the conflicts, anything.

I follow the German political scene as much as I can and I am more and more certain of one thing: AfD is not an extreme party. It is a party with which I will disagree on some things, but it is not extreme, especially if we consider the Left - a parliamentary party that openly calls for the banning of millionaires and the Greens who shut down nuclear power plants without any reasonable reason. Apart from them, AfD is not an extremist party.
Why do journalists call only right-wing parties extreme, and not the Greens, even though the latter have much more extreme and dangerous policies, that is a real question. I think the answer is because journalists are mostly radical leftists. From their perspective, the right is extreme, and the left is not. That's it.

Journalists often write about the AfD as an "anti-Semitic" party, but I have yet to come across any real basis for such a label. AfD demands the deportation of Muslim asylum seekers, and German Jews see them as the greatest threat, especially after the escalation of the conflict in Israel. So the support of German Jews to the AfD is quite logical.
Of course, the media doesn't want you to know this.

The relationship between the US and the EU is like that of a manipulative parent and a spoiled, insecure child.
The parent has instilled all the bad habits in his child, achieved his own ambitions through him, imposed his lifestyle on him, but also threatens to kick him out of the family home "if he doesn't get his shit together." It's time for him to grow up, even though he's not allowed to grow up.
The child is already old enough, has some school, is ready for an independent life and constantly shouts that he's going to leave, but he likes it when someone else cleans up after him and is aware that there won't be money for avocados, whey protein and 20 subscriptions to streaming services if he has to pay rent and a car on his own.
They still live in the same house, but the relationship is definitely not healthy.
