At the Indian Market : Wow....fenugreek leaves! I've never cooked with those before. 🤔

Internal debate ensued on whether to purchase them, knowing the rabbit hole of fenugreek recipes and blog posts would likely divert me from my lengthy "to do" list 😢

A little about Fenugreek:

Fenugreek also called Methi (Hindi) or Methika (Sanskrit)

Has been used for centuries in many cultures for culinary and medicinal purposes. (My Persian cookbooks are filled with recipes containing fenugreek.)

It has a distinct pungent and bitter taste with light, oily and heating properties.

It's a great herb for pacifying Vata and Kapha imbalances.

It kindles agni, improves digestion, relieves bloating and is a mild laxative.

Medicinally, Fenugreek seeds are useful in balancing blood sugar levels, lowering cholesterol, promoting milk flow in postpartum moms and much more.

Sort of. Yes, you're still living in the same reality that the others have influence over (their experience on Twitter can cause them to make decisions that affect you) but you can still benefit from the aspects of reality that you can control. Not using Twitter may still benefit your life greatly, even if not perfectly. My life IS better without Twitter even though many other people still use it. I can also mitigate the impact of other people choosing to use Twitter in areas I can control.

Everyone around me using Twitter doesn't negate all of the benefits of me not using Twitter. I still have some agency and exercise it to maximize my life in reality. This sort of viewpoint can quickly slip into nihilism if we aren't careful.
