It's like the raptor from Jurassic Park π¨π¦
I'm with you.
I guess the point I really want to make is not specifically Twitter, but all algorithm driven feeds (visual, aural, and textual) that people use affect their state of mind, what they think about, and what they eventually do.
We have a population of people who are being influenced in this way every day and then taking the state of mind they're left with to make decisions and act in the world. If you or I defect and take back control of our minds, everyone else is still "in the matrix" or "living under Big Brother" to varying degrees.
You still have to interact with them, and their thoughts and beliefs will still have an impact on you. Unless you're hyper-vigilent or completely isolated, you're still a downstream "user" of the algorithm, if that makes sense.
I hope you had a good day too.
It's supposed to be really hot today, so I'll either stay in or go to the beach. I haven't decided yet.
Good morning βοΈπ§‘
Yeah. If you don't use Twitter but everyone around you uses Twitter, you're still pretty much using Twitter.
What can I say I'm a renaissance man

The only difference between fiction and nonfiction is trust.
I don't have kids, so I can't say what would work. But for me, questioning the history I was taught was first the result of extreme cynicism after learning just a little bit about how things actually work. If I were to teach someone from scratch, I'd focus on building habits of questioning and making sure what you're hearing makes sense before you accept it, and even then, holding what you believe lightly enough that new information can adjust your views when needed.
Belief in good religion is a great foundation.
Good night βοΈπ§‘
Almost GM though lol
Just get some wine from nostr:npub153xmex42x4chdf757hp3q6zxagykkek7pdgwuwd074964dkyha9s82ryu8 and call it a day. You know what they say, if it's good enough for Jesus.
