although the docs _say_ you can do cross platform image builds, they don't mention that it blows up the build time. a Rust production build went from 15 min (amd64) to 2 hr 15 min (arm64 on default amd64 Github action runner instance). time to learn abt selfhosted runners

Maybe but as a core nostr person followers are more likely to go thru the effort. I am a humble nondescript pleb; wouldn't expect my followers to notice the request to change, or to cut over. i'm hanging on to my 32-bit PoW key until there is an auto-transition mech in clients
