Hmm.. Probably?.. I don't know. I've never pondered it before. I don't really believe in nature over nurture or vice versa. I believe that both make us what we are. I believe that God has distributed gifts too. It's like when you make a character in a game, and have a number of points to go towards various aspects of your character. Perhaps you and I rank a little higher in a particular gifting. Just like 'natural' entrepreneurs, or those people who naturally give off trusting vibes might have another gifting. Maybe those 'natural' gifts reside in our spirit and we can through the way we are nurtured and the skills we chose to spend time on either grow or neglect them.

Scary! You just described me to a "t" with that first paragraph. Although, other than severe introversion and fear/hatred for everyone that were big features of my childhood, I'd never thought of those traits as being the reason why I often feel like I can read others intentions.

I don't think I've ever left home feeling "sexy". When I dress nicely and get the sideways glance and smirk from hubby then I'm desirable and know what's happening when we get home, but I dress modestly. One can highlight her assets while covering them after all.

As a woman, I reject the idea that it's okay to appease a bunch of snowflakes. If my bluntness causes them to be "unsafe" (is this some kind of euphemism for suicidal?
