Toby's eyes have always been particularly stunning. When he was a kitten they were unbelievably bright blue. They've calmed down as he's aged.

I actually love that someone called it out in a public forum. That's the only way to fight it, because too many people have no clue what is happening, we're all too busy dealing with inflation and getting by. If she got shut down then she won with that remark. Why should pre-teens be exposed to it if adults can't discuss it on air indeed.
The goods and services tax here is 10% and our tax on fuel is 44%. It's money sent to the gov but it will never actually do anything for the environment and probably not even the roads. I got an EV in November, but the government is trying to find ways to tax them excessively too 🙄

I think it points to a lifestyle and personality trait often referred to as "openness" to explore new things. I was quite comfortable in any situation when I was younger but I've lost openness as I've aged. But it did serve me well when I was young, so thanks for the reminder. Growth is a vague term can't say if I "grew" because of openness or not.
It takes a real commitment to being truthful. When it comes to lying, one only has to go along with the flow. 😑

Today, I disagree. How could I not? He has shown me that He answers my prayers in powerful ways. He has given me hope again. I knew I was depressed from before the beginning of 2023 till this morning, but He has given me hope again and I can't stop smiling. Duncan's saying is fun but I offer you my favourite: "If you want to know what God can do, remember this. What He's done for others, He can do for you."
