I have no idea who was at the bitcoin conference but I suspect it is mostly fairly uninteresting people for the most part lol. right now only he can decrypt the message containing the e-cash token with his private key. If I would post the token publicly anyone could take it. With P2SH only he could redeem the token even if it was posted pubicly, but that's not implemented yet (s/o @calle)
