#Meshtastic question, or maybe just a general microwave doppler motion sensor question:

I'm using a RAK 19007/4631 and a RAK12013 radar motion board and I get a lot of false alarms. I eliminated the RF possibility from the 4631, so I'm down to reflections or something causing it. One was in the car as a test and it falsed when the sun came up, which shouldn't be a thing for this type of sensor.

Are there some accepted good practices for mounting these things that I should know about?

Some #Meshtastic goings-on lately...

We've had some meth head POS creeping around the neighborhood stealing things at night. I've given nodes to the neighbors and we now have a little private network that will work when the power's out. This turd seems to be waiting for storms and power outages, so this is critical.

Soon there will be nodes with motion sensors. These will alert the locals on the channel, and they will be around shortly with torches and pitchforks.

Next step is getting notifications remotely via internet. That should give us all a solid little community alarm system.
