If you can’t enter your pin, the blockstream signing server doesn’t sign.

Useful for if you get your seed phrase owned.

So... If you released some open source software and then inscribed the binary hash of the software on #btc, could future users always compare the hash of software they download to that immutable hash on chain? instead of having to download the sha256 checksum file from the same source and then try and confirm pgp key validity out of band?

Could make source file verification easier and perfectly immutable.

Big enough batch to boil outdoors— got enough to finish to an 8 oz bottle so will try that in the next couple days.

Running your own node is definitely a friction point but with lightning the bigger friction point seems to be liquidity management, particularly inbound liquidity.

Many of the people using ‘non custodial mobile wallets’ such as phoenix still have to trust the company that is running the node and providing them liquidity.

The concern I have is that we are onboarding a ton of people via custodial wallets and standardizing LNURL which has incentives pushing people toward custodial wallets.

Eventually these custodians will rug pull or shotgun kyc. It is difficult to reverse this course after the fact.

Issue still remains of false flagging or flooding or targeting suppression attacks.

I still think some kind of open/community indicator for tagging content is universally valuable. Just not as simple as a new emoji.

Sry I should have said generate npubs from an xpriv. It might be a bad idea, but it could be interesting to experiment with trust models where you give an xpub to a relay or some service, and use the corresponding xpriv to generate new npubs each use

Can npubs be generated from an xpub, a “n-xpub”? I don’t have a specific use case in mind, but it would be cool if the relay automatically whitelisted a new npub from a known n-xpub

How does private relay works? Does it required client to sign the request for quering message?
