Wow, my uncle in Germany sent this to me. Matt Damon calling for civil disobedience worldwide. Is this recent or old? I hadn't heard about it before.

I guess a benefit is that if you lose your private key nostr:npub1earna05hx6ax38r33h3atmecjzdu547m8suw87w70aw6mlyga4hsqcja5j can restore it for you?

From other comments below I see that nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 sees custodial clients as a way to "keep everybody in check"

Nah, he's too committed to X:

"On Sunday, Woods confirmed Musk blocked him, but added he wasn’t going anywhere despite his threats. “The recurring theme in your many heartfelt DM’s was a fear that I would leave X,” Woods told his followers. “I’ve have now decided I will never leave, and will only ever be silent when they find an excuse to remove my account.”

"The word “anarchy” is itself a Greek one: #anarchy is a state without hierarchy or government. But the idea is really a modern one. The modern anarchist’s creed is that all forms of coercive power are evil; individuals should make their own decisions freely, and hence all instruments of social control should be encouraged to wither away. When government by force has dissolved, then individuals will be free to regroup into purely voluntary associations, from friendships and contractual arrangements between individuals to larger cooperatives and syndicates."

From William D. Desmond, Cynics (2008)

AFRICOM won't like that...

I know it's just a meme, but...

Adopting the Constitution itself was giving up some rights, to appease the crybaby liberals of the day. What do you call "eminent domain"? That was giving the "government" the right to take your private property. People yielded up the right to decide how to live their own lives in some matters to a group of people called their "representatives" who actually don't represent them. The "Antifederalists", like Patrick Henry, saw through this, and opposed adoption of the Constitution, because they foresaw that by adopting it, the liberty they had won in the War for Independence was now being thrown away...

Ok. So I noticed an "Edit" button at the bottom right of the screen and when you click it you have the option to "Reset" and then it shows more apps. That is kind of what I'm looking for, a way to see other apps that you may not have added to your own nostrnet.work yet.

One more update – bringing app icons to NostrNet.work.

This is a part of a larger redesign. Special thanks to nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac for showing me what is possible with the NostrNet.work in terms of state-of-the-art design.

I will post more details about larger redesign later.

Awesome! Since not everyone has all of the apps you have, can you add a way to see app icons for other available apps that people can add?
