So nostr:npub1xy54p83r6wnpyhs52xjeztd7qyyeu9ghymz8v66yu8kt3jzx75rqhf3urc just sent me a screenshot of Nostur showing more likes/reactions than Damus & Primal for the same note

I didnโ€™t know this was happening since I thought this all had to do with relays, my npub has the same relay list across these clients yet the data is different on each one of them

this basically means community voting goes out of the window for upcoming #NostrMemes contests

IM OFFICIALLY ASKING YOU TO CONSIDER JOINING OUR VOTING PANEL

DMS OPEN ๐Ÿค

one of my biggest complaints about nostr. No consistency whatsoever across apps/web clients, even if one has the same relays in all of them. And its not just likes/reactions. I had a few DMs that were sent over a month ago magically show up a day or two ago after logging into to Amethyst (was using Garnet for a few months). Follows/follower lists are often out of sync as well.

Happy Sunday. โ˜•๐Ÿšฌ

Israel is killing Christians in Palestine and Lebanon. Hamas and Hezbollah protect Christians in their respective areas of operation.

Carry on.

Oh dear.

Some people are literally in poverty and dont spend money on nonsene. I got about 90ยข to my name and havent had income for over a month. Its easy to assume people's situation, but some of us are broke as fuck, cant feed ourselves and bitcoin does not fix it nor can it

I got ideas, but not always good ones๐Ÿ˜‰

one of the on-chain wallets I use. Zeus has a built-in onchain so it goes there first (and was getting the same 'not enough funds' nonsense when I tried the purchase on-chain), then sent it to my other. All in all, closing two channels, moving them to another, then making the purchase on-chain cost less in fees than Zues was trying to rob me for by using lightning

Last time I tried to use Zeus (since closed all channels because of this) I tried to make a purchase of around 70k sats. Had about 120k at the time and somehow didnt have enough to cover routing fees. So 50k wasnt enough. Closed both channels and somehow ended up with more than before closing them, and cost me a few hundred sats to move it to another wallet.

I prefer the tin-foil tuxedo๐Ÿคฃ

Words matter. Stop referring to yourself as a citizen or any other state sanctioned moniker. That is slave-speak. You are an individual who just happens tonreside in your current location.

As a small scale producer of vegetables I am regularly asked why our vegetables are priced the way they are. What makes them so special and why, given that we sell direct donโ€™t they cost less? If there is no distribution chain taking their cut, shouldnโ€™t our vegetables be cheaper? The short answer is a solid NO, the long answer lies in the concept of being Frugal vs being Cheap.

A Frugal mindset analyses spending via the lens of quality, longevity, benefit to the purchaserโ€™s life and value for money. A Cheap mindset simply evaluates the price and will tend to settle on the lowest cost, regardless of any other factor. While it is understandable, especially in the post-Covid economy to be careful with your spending, being Cheap always puts you further behind in the long run. Frugality takes a long term view of wealth, health and quality of life and balances them against the cost of an item.

Our farm is managed with hand tools not machinery. Our plants are tended to with love, high level knowledge of plant and soil health, wisdom and a passion to serve our local region with food that nourishes and heals the body. For example our soil is aerated with a broadfork rather than tillage and our Spinach is harvested with scissors and washed by hand.

Commodity vegetables are produced with tractors, a workforce that is indifferent to the end product and consumer, packed onto trucks and driven all over the country to wait in warehouses before going back onto a truck and driven to a supermarket or green grocer. A bag Spinach or a head of Lettuce could be 4 weeks old before you even see it on the shelf. Have you ever bought a bag of Spinach then taken it home only to have it go off in a few days before you even get through the meagre amount contained within?

Our Spinach is $10 for 250g minimum, has excellent flavour and a crunch when you bite into it, lasts weeks and weeks after harvesting and the quality far exceeds everything else available.

Coles Organic Spinach is $4.80 for 100g (more expensive than us) and in the same time span as consuming one of our bags, you could buy 4 or more bags of flimsy Spinach with no mouth feel, limited nutritional value, end up discarding up to half of it and have a miserable experience consuming it as it rapidly goes off in front of you. No wonder people โ€œdonโ€™t like saladโ€ they are consuming garbage.

Our produce is for people looking to improve their culinary experiences, health and quality of life all the while supporting a local, family run business that is improving their local environment.

Always be Frugal, Never be Cheap.

Pay for quality food now, or shitty medical care later.

yea its was fun for awhile, and forced me to learn linux more than I did at the time, but just lost its novelty. Also., something wrong with both I have (OG and Pro). either batteries went dead or both eMMC died, or some combo. Can't get shit to install anymore other than tow-boot on the pro. Its bizarre, but such is life. I have the KB case too which was a really nice add on

Well good to know. Fortunately my cats have not ever needed a vet visit, but at least I can expect some sanity should the need occur

I was about to order one some years back then I heard about them pulling this shit so went with Pinephones (which ended up being a huge disappointment)
