I keep trying to figure this out, how it can be free. you're right. very curious. probably this door will be slammed shut soon. #[2]

gm nostr. spring is close.

"We live together, we act on, and react to, one another; but always and in all circumstances we are by ourselves. The martyrs go hand in hand into the arena; they are crucified alone. Embraced, the lovers desperately try to fuse their insulated ecstasies into a single self-transcendence; in vain. By its very nature every embodied spirit is doomed to suffer and enjoy in solitude. Sensations, feelings, insights, fanciesโ€”all these are private and, except through symbols and at second hand, incommunicable. We can pool information about experiences, but never the experiences themselves. From family to nation, every human group is a society of island universes."

Aldous Huxley, The Doors of Perception

attention is your bandwidth for changing the universe

my intuition is that novel writing is one of humanity's greatest art forms, and that it would take something remarkable to allow multiple people to be able to do it well together. I can't even think of any novels written by two people that don't suck.

there are good D&D campaigns, but they are written by authors ahead of time.
