I'm experimenting with turning arbitrary npubs that have published articles into a blog-like website, including RSS feed. if those articles have an imeta tag attached with type "audio/mpeg", and a URL to an mp3, it will become a podcast.

the idea is that a podcast can be a collection of articles with URLs associated with them.

try pasting an npub in a see what comes up. this is only the thinnest of thin vertical slices, so go easy on it. this is pre-alpha messing around.

and RSS feeds look like:

we could drop the dns and get away with using bare IP addresses, but that would be a painful hack. we'd end up with people camping on easily remembered IP addresses recapitulating DNS inside nostr. hmm.

I agree there's a lot that can be done by just not having the human readable layer. maybe that is enabled by WoT.

still, there is probably room for something human readable, even if it's something more like seedwords for an npub, just to allow people to speak it.

npubs will replace IP addresses for identifying snd retrieving content. but will there be an analog to domain names, a human readable layer, something not nip05?

porkbun.com has been great. no nonsense, good low-time-preference pricing. by that, I mean they don't do try to lure you in with low initial signup and then high renewal, but just a solid, competitive price.

I'm looking at https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/51.md and not seeing how I would make a list of lists based on what's already in there.

which `kind` would you use to represent such a list?

I like the idea of an app that turns opml files into lists of lists of npubs that represent rss feeds. also the reverse, lists of lists of npubs i to an opml.
