What do you say to people that say that they "can't afford bitcoin"?

Bitcoin seems to have forked Christianity. Maybe all religions but only the Christians talk to each other about it.

The fiat works is bizarro and backwards. It’s also spinning and trying to nauseate and disorient the strongest of us.

Nostr is a blade of grass to hold on to. Tomorrow it will be a weed. The next day, a strap handle. Before we know it, we’ll have forgotten why we came here - but we’ll be buying and providing provisions from the zaps we gave each other a long time ago.

Whatever war you’re fighting today - god bless, stay humble, and stack those sats.

Banks are in the same position as Jason Lowery says nation states are in. They’re in a stalemate of mutually assured destruction.

Competitors cannot attack each other without killing the host and destroying everyone.

It’s not a free market - not close. It’s a cabal of parasites determined to protect the host at any cost to any other dependent on the system.

Become independent of the system. Learn to hold Bitcoin and trade-off volatility and responsibility for being a pawn in the banking system.

Pura Vida!

Bitcoin goes where it is needed. It’s not an investment unless it thinks someone needs it to be. It doesn’t grease a social network unless it sees value in doing so.

I believe Bitcoin selected Nostr and is greasing it because it sees a symbiotic value to help it’s own goals.

When this goes, it's gonna go fast.

But I think they're gonna be able to fake their solvency for longer than is rational.

It's a corrupt system.

Expect corrupt outcomes.

We are living in the greatest time period in history. People are richer, freer and (largely still) more at peace than ever before. There are exceptions to this as always (Ukraine, COVID, the fiat ponzi scheme), and engineering minds always focus on what is wrong (so they can fix what is wrong), but we all need to recalibrate our overall perspective from time to time.

The freedom and good lives we have now should not be taken for granted. Use your freedom now to maximize your circumstances. Things have been and can be much much worse, so appreciate the wonderful life you have. 🥂
