Ya I think that because many #nostr folks share the values from #bitcoin, the community is tighter.

Ya likely bandwidth is still an issue for #nostr (I’m new here). But for #bitcoin… folks are transacting with little to no Internet at all (Cuba and Africa are examples).

Sorry for the dumb Q, but what does ‘relay configuration’ mean. Someone else told me “add more relays” so I added like a dozen with low ish latency but that didn’t seem to help much. What else is there to configure?

Well… if you were to steelman their rational - it’s that the investor gets the upside of bitcoin / mstr growth, but the downside protection that if it doesn’t grow (or goes down) they get their money back (plus a little interest)

The details of that are in the press release. The convertible note either pays back the loan w/ .0625% interest or converts to equity at 0.667. Someone can confirm my napkin math but this roughly means if if the price is over $1500/share (largely due to being a proxy for bitcoin growth), you might be better off taking the equity, and less than that and you could just take the loan back.

I’m oversimplifying, but this is the general idea why someone would consider it.

Ya scaling seems problematic. I’ve tried a few different clients and every feed takes at least a few a seconds to load. Some screens will literally just hang. Worse than the early days of Twitter w/ the fail whale. Is this everyone else’s nostr experience? #asknostr

I have a similar problem on #damus. I can get zaps for my notes . But when I try to zap someone else’s note, it seems like I’m only able to zap the person not the individual note.

I even tried to switch to #primal to see if that helps, but it seems to not allow external wallets.
