Remember picking up the phone to make a call, then realising you were still connected to the internet? 🤖🗯️

It's because nostr isn't ready for the masses. It's quite slow at times and lags. The followers list takes forever to load. Nobody wants to sit there and wait for it to load. I don't even get notifications when someone follows me which is important. There is many other issues, not to mention the lightning network is confusing for the masses.

So users come check it out then leave because of those problems.

I see mostly only people who are techy savvy on here.

It's kinda like the early stages of Bitcoin where it was mostly on tech savvy people at first.

I see the potential of nostr just like I saw the potential of Bitcoin and realize nostr is the future of social media. Nostr is going to destroy all of the other social medias.

Nostr just needs to solve all the issues above and make it easier for the masses. I have faith nostr will solve those issues in the long run.

I'm here to stay and I love nostr.

Most people are unaware and cannot appreciate the greatness of Bitcoin, technically, economically and socially.

In contrast to traditional banks, Bitcoin:

- It allows you to make transactions 365 days a year, 24 hours a day (banks are closed on weekends and holidays).

- You don't have to ask anyone's permission to make a transaction (For large transactions you have to ask the bank's permission).

- You cannot be censored by anyone (banks censor transactions all the time).

- Especially for large transactions the cost is a joke. (Large transactions in the traditional system are expensive and slow, we are talking about transactions of 1000 million dollars for example, in some cases it can take months to be settled)

- If you are in a hurry and pay enough, in 10 minutes the sender gets the money.

- It cannot be counterfeited (fiat money is easily counterfeited, both by central banks and by small individuals).

- You don't need anyone's permission or any documentation to create a Bitcoin wallet (banks ask for your underwear size and can deny you an account if they want to).

- No one can cancel your account or confiscate your money (Banks cancel accounts day after day and confiscate money day after day).
