😆 that what a lot of people have said! I shaped it to slide on a table and keep hands out of the way, i just have big hands!
This is the letter opener i made for my gf for Christmas! Its hand forged with a twisted integral bolster. The handle is hidden tang poplar that i shaped and etched myself!

These tiny eggs are in a fern in the front yard! They are smaller than my finger nail!
Anyone know what kind of bird they're from?
Gf and I were busy getting our plants in the ground this weekend! We trippled the size of or food garden and have peas, tomatoes, strawberries, black berries, cucumber, squash, zucchini, pumpkin, a bunch of herbs, peppers, and a bunch more I can't remember! I hope to supplement a decent amount of our store bought food this year!
With this, our chickens, and honey and syrup from our neighbors we're eating all natural!
My third knife ever, handle is three pieces of wood epoxied for dramatic effect, the tang goes through all three. Poplar ricasso, ash finger nocks, and poplar again for the hilt. My daughter determined the level of blade polish, it looks amazing!

When I finally got my chicks I thought the exact thing! Now they're awkward teen pullets 🤣
I take requests! usually takes a month or two to complete due to job and kids lol Where are you at?
It is! I used a hickory axe handle as a blank then shaped it by hand for leverage and power. I sanded to 360 grit, then put 5 coats of BLO progressively sanding upto 1500 grit! Its so baby smooth and easy to control!
heres my makers mark I put on all mu forgings, I think its so cool!
