Where I live, a lot of people have 7 foot tall Bigfoot silhouettes on their property, I have no idea why! 😆 some are even dressed up!
I made a straightening jig for my knives! I was always trying to straighten them in the 30 seconds after quench but was mostly unsuccessful, but this works amazing! The knife in it is a chefs knife for someone and it turned out perfect after straightening with this jig, it had like 4 waves in it before! There's 12 holes in each side of the U channel so I can place bolts where ever I need to apply pressure, I then toss it in the oven for tempering and slowly apply more pressure as the material becomes less prone to cracking (after quench knives will shatter if flexed much at all) until no more waves, it works amazingly!

Here's a simple reverse curve blade knife I made a while ago. As far as I know #[0] still uses it to cut leather. the shape makes sharpening difficult but I figured it out!

Im glad yours are doing well! Most of mine from two weeks ago didn't live for some reason 🙃 but we planted more on Monday and those are looking great so far! And good luck mowing all that with a push mower! 😆 🤣

I forged these stakes yesterday and they look so cool I think! They are extremely durable, 12 inch x 0.5 in solid steel. I can make many patterns too, these are my two favorites! These are designed to be driven into posts or logs at any angle to hold lanterns or flower pots or lights etc.
The small one is a bottle opener for my neighbor, its a new design and I really like it! its 6 inches x 0.375 inches thick.
The finish is wire brushed as forged steel with wax coating.

Heres the newest member to my chicken flock! Hes a white face black spanish bantam, hes little but almost full grown! Hes like a quarter the size of my hens. I really hope he can mate with the big girls! Ill try to get one of him next to the girls lol

Actually two got out, they were in a tree and got locked out of the coop. We think they just jumped the run fence, but it could've been a kid too.

Here is one of my favorite knives I've made so far. Its my version on a stiletto dagger. Square crossection meant specifically for stabbing through armor. The blade is 1045 polished to 2000 grit and the handle is beautiful red oak! The guard is A36 with a forge finish top and bottom with polished and temper colored edges! All hand made by me! This was before i had any power tools at all, so completely done with hammers and files and sand paper! It took about 50 hours!
