A couple years ago, hiking through the forest it struck me how beautiful it was that underpinning all of the trees, plants and even the soil, was a base layer where countless microscopic transactions took place every moment and what emerged was this magnificent experience.
It was at that point that I saw the value of protocols and standards that enable incomprehensible complexity and beauty to spring forth. Nostr gives me this vibe. There's already too much going on to track and I love it.
Looking at the code it seems the pictures are often favicons and these things are static in the project. So basically interested app devs should submit a PR to the GitHub on static/common.js

The "super app" idea has captured the imagination of builders ever since WeChat launched in 2011. The west has looked to replicate this model, but maybe an open protocol is how we finally get there.
In this conversation I catch up with Artur and we discuss his nostr.band project and his ideas on a new kind of App Store in nostrapp.link

Is there anything app devs should do so the text description is filled in?

As human brains mature their context windows get shorter.
At least for ML models whether encrypted or signed or grabbed from clearnet or through hacks become just another set of inputs to train on. If it helps classification it'd be used.
My intuition struggles with the many variables in play.
What motivated your initial note?
Flashback to 2015 when I'd hear the alarm and scramble to pickup troublesome objects.
Best use is for orange pilling. Normies understand buying things so this gives you an easy way to do it. The question is what's going to impress your target the most? Music? A meme? Beer?
Is there a way to login on mobile?
Definitely worth it! Think of it often in regards to many worldly happenings. Not a big fan of Rees-Mogg's later work but this stands up. 8/10
The way what we're doing here has unknowable boundaries makes me want to reread The Sovereign Individual. #bookstr

It raises signal for us so it might do the same for them. Depends on whether we could keep them out.
Looking at Wikipedia, this variation might be called:
Number of people with multiple birthdays who share a birthday.
The algorithm probably needs to be checked for regardedness

Is there a hashtag for crowdsourced paywall jumping?
And it doesn't even need to be rigged in a coordinated way. Could just be the kind of power dynamics you read about in history, once the narrative is condensed.
In the 21st century the fiat money empire started to crumble...
Today's Nostr clients tend to come with relays preselected but for best resiliency and censorship resistance shouldn't they be more random?
In that case, having at least one shared relay would be necessary for comms between two random users.
If there are 300 relays in operation, how many randomly selected relays should each client connect to for there to be at least one relay overlapping?
This is similar to the birthday problem but I'm not sure how to enter it into any online calculator.

My cable box screensaver has been showing me ads for months. It used to show landscapes. This is how long it took to notice. Guess landscapes don't monetize.
