The only advertising you will find on Nostr is word of mouth, either directly from the source or from people familiar enough with the source, the product or the service that they are comfortable putting their own identity out there in support of it. This is the pinnacle of reviews, way better than anonymous reviews on a retail platform that doesn't care about the customer, the business or the product.
We really need Angie's to move to Nostr. Or build something like it. Honestly, it probably already exists and I just don't know about it yet.

Having trouble using the system.
Opened in Brave, because that's the browser I have Alby installed on. Logged in with Extension. Clicked Create. I can see fields to add npubs for Viewers and Editors, but not much else. And when I add someone's npub as a co-editor, it doesn't really do anything.
I know, work in progress, but what am I missing?

Do you know what industry needs a major disruption from an open source and global system like Nostr? Streaming video. Something to compete with all of the current advertisement driven drivel.
I hate ads. But I really enjoy these shows. I just wish I could pay the creators directly instead of through a for profit service like Amazon.

If you're on nostr, and you're meeting with someone P2P, it's just a transaction where you give them something of value (cash, product, service) and they send sats to your nostr wallet. Scan code, shake hands, everyone walks away satisfied. Use existing infrastructure whenever possible.
I just watched the nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 overview on cashu, and I think I get it. It's not sats directly, but it's a token that can be used to make payments within an ecash node that carry the same value. I haven't gotten deep enough to need this myself yet, but I'm glad it exists.

I think I'm missing something. What's the difference between Cashu and Sats? Are we talking about something like a stablecoin, with value of a unit = 1USD, or ... I don't get it... Sorry, I've been seeing a lot of talk about how exciting it is, but not enough about WHAT it is.
What am I missing? And yes, I've read the FAQ. I'm not seeing an answer there for some reason.
