Wealth based systems are the future. #Bitcoin is the foundation for wealth based financial capital. Critical thinking is required. Bitcoin class of 2017.

Circular economies are the real solution. We need someone, anyone, to accept it and start spreading the word. Building the networks that grow to allow these transactions to happen again and again.

It's always a mutual agreement between buyer and seller, isn't it?

Not that alone, of course, but it's very cool on Nostr to be able to show real appreciation via true value for posts and content.

I got it working! I didn't understand how to create a proper invoice, so I was creating one with zero value and expecting to be able to put in an amount as a second step. But that's now how it works.

If I create an invoice on Strike for the amount I want to transfer, then the Lightning invoice can be copied to Coinbase. The fee is about 1%, which is very reasonable. It's not a single Sat like it should be, but it's also not 5% or worse.

This means that I can transfer my coins off of Coinbase and into Strike. Which also means I'm one step closer to having them full self-custody in a fully lightning enabled wallet.

Thanks, nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle!!

I've tried sending to my Strike wallet, doesn't work. Tried sending to my Primal wallet, doesn't work. Even tried doing a copy/paste of a LN Invoice from the Strike app, and Coinbase claimed it was invalid.

And of course Lightspark is not on Nostr to tag, so they're not actually serious about Lightning.

They claim to, via Lightspark. But I haven't been able to get it to work yet.

Has anyone successfully been able to use Lightning to transfer Bitcoin from Coinbase to another LN wallet?

I agree that we couldn't give the nsec key to anyone, unless they are still using the original email address used to make the usenet post. Maybe not even then. But even if nobody could claim them, they should still be accessible.

Google actually bought Deja archive in February of 2001, which included a collection of over 500 million Usenet newsgroups messages dating back to 1995.

I think someone should do an import into Nostr node of all of the UseNet archives, where people can claim the posts and get zaps for helping to build the early Internet. No idea how that could be done, but it shouldn't be impossible.
