I saw that the incoming administration is looking to cut expenses, and one of the targets may be foreign aid. I would like to submit for review an article about one of the large projects that we have been financing with foreign aid that puts a few million people in the direct path of a major disaster if that funding is pulled.
I hope DOGE will actually review individual programs being funded instead of just swinging swords blindly.

Regulations cannot be placed on Bitcoin. They can only be placed on people. Any regulations they try to place on Bitcoin will fail.
if WE want something done, WE finance it and pay for it. right now we elect representatives that seem to do whatever the hell they want and then they demand that we pay for it.
Right Wing Free Marketeers: The buying and selling of goods and services at the retail level should be able to pay for everything that humans need. I shouldn't have to pay any more taxes than absolutely necessary.
Left Wing Free Marketeers: There are expenses that are beyond the power of individuals, and we have a responsibility to care for our fellow man and the Earth. We should only have to pay taxes for those things that we all agree are worth financing through governance structures that we all help to develop and maintain.

Honestly, Iran should lock their currency to Bitcoin today and stop printing new IRR. Just let their entire monetary foundation do the switch over dynamically.
When Bitcoin = $1M USD, 100 sats will equal $1.00. That's the point where the US Government should lock the currency to the value of Bitcoin and stop printing new dollars.

I think the reason may be the shields that my work computer has. It's blocking the relays most of the time. Understandable, just annoying.

Changes need to happen to fix what we see as broken. Those changes require that ALL of us change, it doesn't work to point fingers and say that "they" have to change.
If you want to see change, but you're not willing to BE the change, then it's not going to happen no matter how much we wish for it.
We don't need violence to solve this. All we need is the willingness to step outside of our comfort zone.

How are you logged in? Did you plug in your nsec directly into Primal or are you using an extension?
direct. it's been getting worse, but today I can't do anything via the web app on my laptop. will try from my desktop when I get off work.
also, can we get timestamps added to the notifications? it's annoying to have to click on them to get data on when they happened.
