Hey nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg
It's time for me to migrate my wallet to my new phone.
Is this the correct procedure?:
- Restore wallet on new phone using seed words
- Delete old instance from old phone
#asknostr
That method works but not every bit of data is backed up. So payment list, contacts, etc.
The best method is if you can export state from the old device then import state from the new one.
Merry - nostr -birthday - to - me!🥳 nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg 😆
Did you have a pending payment for a few days?
nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg - if I get one of those "Payment pending" warnings, do I need to keep the wallet opened?

Yes. Check the activity list on the home screen. If it's still pending or if it completes or goes away if it fails.
Hey nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg one more thing, maybe related: I've had a pending zap payment for 2 months, is this a known issue? Just want to check before I restore my wallet to try and get rid of it. I can submit a bug report to Github if this isn't a common issue.

Do you switch wallets (or did so at the time)? That happens. If it's been longer than a few days then it probably failed on a different device and didn't update on this one. Right now the work around is to just restore from seed words, we don't have individual deletes on these right now.
Yeah that's the message LDK gives for the reason but it essentially is because of an in flight payment that the user didn't check back on in time. So your wallet force closes asap when you open it after these timeouts have already passed.
Are your channels online and do you have the outbound capacity for the payments?
Maintenance complete!
There's going to be some maintenance by our LSP provider tonight. Payments may fail and lightning invoices may not generate unless you've opened channels with other nodes on the network.
You need to open the app again for them and give it a few seconds to send out.
Because it appears the estimate is off.
nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg I've got inbound liquidy of 34k sats but it wants to charge me 54k sats to transfer in 25k sats. What is happening here?
(also why is so much being held for fees?)

It's an estimate, though it's typically not off by that much. The high fluctuation in on chain costs cause this. Need to be able to close the channel potentially.
Do you use multiple devices by chance? We've seen this occur sometimes when doing that.
100,000 sat to open channel with lsp
nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 82,500 fee
nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg 7,7764 fee

200+ sats per vbyte will do that. Can't open a channel for much cheaper anywhere right now.
Mutiny is releasing Nostr Wallet Auth (NWA) today!
NWA provides a better and more secure way to connect using Nostr Wallet Connect. To showcase this it has also been implemented in Zapple Pay for you to try it out.
Checkout our demo here or our blog to learn more:
How long has it been pending for? The payment could be stuck but still in progress.
We'll have a guide out tomorrow about our latest release 👌
Latest results show it at 12s, getting better.
