No, right now there's no way way to besides sending somewhere else and then back. And you might not even be experiencing issues. Some do, some do not. It's hit and miss depending on load.

The best way to use Mutiny right now is with our recent Fedimint integration. On top of high fees, we're also hitting scaling issues. New channels may fail, go offline, and payments may fail to route.

We're in the process of integrating additional LSPs. Sorry for the issues.

My thought is that it might allow for quicker more seamless zap payments when Mutiny isn't running (which is tricky on mobile...). Pretty sure hermes couldn't unilaterally pay the zap since the sats are locked to the users npub, but I think it might be possible if the users client is in the mix? again could totally be talking crazy, not sure I fully grasp hermes yet

It wouldn't work like this but there's some other ways we can accomplish offline zaps via fedimint.

I tried nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg several months ago and it didn’t work quite right.

With all the talk, I figured, it’s time to try again.

I sent 500,000 sats to Mutiny and paid 8,000 sats for the channel.

I then linked it to Damus and tried to zap nostr:npub12z8jsett3k6rv9fa2guau5p540qr2xuvjzkr8e432mglafjt99sqkw9zmx

For some reason, the channel closed.

I’ll try again in a few months, maybe it’s me….

Please open an issue and submit logs.

This might be our next big feature. The ability to spend while offline with a preloaded budget.

Thoughts? Would you use this? The biggest hurdle would be that you can't spend the sats you preloaded normally. You would have to refund them back into your wallet. And keep reloading as you draw down the balance.

This is less of a federation issue and probably more of a lightning channel issue.

I signed up for this usecase but can’t accept more than pennies. maybe I was on to something with surfacing inbound capacity to users…

Where are they sending from? Some custodians have issues paying federations at all.

It isn't just for uploading logs. It's for tracking the issue, communicating back and forth about the issues, replications, fixes to try, etc.

Nostr isn't the place for technical support. If you're not willing to open an issue there isn't much we can do to help you.

Still missing funds after adding nostr key etc..

Check your permissions in your Android settings.

We also need more information and logs. You are going through two different social medias and GitHub issues for the same issue. We can't help you this way.

The best option might be to just restore from seed words again. It'll wipe metadata but keep balances and funds intact. The logs should still be there and might be easier to submit afterwards.
