The sats should be distributed among the voters of the least popular choice.

Cool! Do the sats go to the poll maker?

Any other Yarrow tea fans?

Ah! I see! But also, I see an empty feed.

Maybe because I'm accessing through Amethyst?

I am currently exploring the Nostr ecosystem and using my private key to access browser clients carelessly, because the stakes are low.

How can I do this safely without putting significant trust on a third party?

Using the standard URI to facilitate #XNO tipping in Amethyst and potentially other clients

The standard URI that is interpreted as a nano address by programs such as the Nault wallet (in desktop) and the Natrium wallet (in the phone) is:

nano:nano_public_address

So, if you use this format in a field where a "website" link is accepted, someone clicking that link who has a wallet app installed will open their wallet with the nano_public_address as the recipient.

What this means is that you can add your nano address to your profile in the "website" field using this format, and it will provide a functionality similar to the lighting-network functionality that is already built directly into the some clients when visiting a user's profile. This does not work with every client, but with Amethyst + Natrium it works great.

This does not mean that you will be able to "Zap" using nano. For that, a new client would have to be developed. But this URI can be used to integrate nano tipping to an extent with minimal effort until more generalized clients exist that give us more freedom about the crypto currencies we can tip with, or until a nano-specific or maybe nano/banano client is developed.

If anyone does want clients that integrate nano or whatever their favorite cryptocurrencies might be, it is good to show some interest about Nostr integration in your community, and about your favorite cryptocurrency in Nostr. An interested community can be a good motivator to develop.

Oh, eventually you started showing up in the computer too. It seems some relay took some time to send stuff to my client, or... I'm not sure. I don't get it yet. So sorry for mis-informing you.

Haha ok ok. So definitely not "game master"

Thanks you get a zap :D

Aaaah, I was just trying to figure out what "GM" was. So it means good morning?

I use both, and find Syncthing a lot more useful in general.

Syncthing automatically my password databases (KeePassXC) between devices, ensures I make multiple copies of important files, allows me to move data generated in computers in the labs while I measure, and use it easily move files between my phone and desktop. There is a Raspberry PI in the network to keep everything in sync, but if it burns my files are still stored in other places.

Next Cloud I use to write down quick notes, organize spreadsheets, slideshow presentations, keep a calendar, and share files with others. So it serves a different purpose, which is to replace Google Docs in my case. And if my RaspberryPI shuts off I can't reach it.

I am using Amethyst with the phone and Irist.to in the browser. I can see you in Amethyst but not iris.to. I noticed when I wanted to reply to you with my computer.
