Who gets the sats?
I would prefer recieving Sats for my precious opinion than paying for being able to answer. 😉

I think it's odd that the amount of sats impacts on the results of voting. Not the amount of voices, but more money = more vote.
Votes don't matter. Anyone can vote even a million times 1 sats each
Poster could zap themselves millions of sats too so they are both worthless metrics.
Therefore, you should only participate in those polls whose creator has a high social trust rating 🤔 And at the end, double-check the results by removing bots and rich people 🤣
Maybe polls could have an option to pay sats to a (potentially neutral) third party. Still manipulable but slightly more auditable.

Amount of votes doesn't matter too. If you want to win the poll, you just need more money than opposites.

The poll creator should choose how much sats per vote and it should be 1 user 1 vote.

I agree with the comments below. Voting should cost a set amount of sats so we get an actual bead on what the vote really means. So I guess it's stupid if it's just a question of spending power and who is willing to outspend their counterparts. No set amount of sats likely means more sats for the poll creator.

Depends on the use case. Polls with zaps are rather stupid, because it kind of is PoS. The more sats you have the more power.
Ofc you could say, hey but if you spend more sats you deploy more votes. But (sats) poor people don't have money anyway. So they cant spend money on anything really.
