I just meant people who aren't using the site for politics, aren't part of commentariat. That sort of thing. This is from a community of people posting rare films and rare scans of films. They don't like Twitter, they don't like bluesky (the supposedly 'nice protocol' lol)

I recently discovered the "Ghosts V", which I really like.

With Teeth and Year Zero were both good. Ghosts I-IV has some good tracks too, all instrumentals. I'm not as familiar with his latest stuff.

Governments will probably continue to exist for a while. Making healthcare free serves the public interest. It's one thing for the state to exist, but even worse if it doesn't provide essential services like healthcare and education to its citizens.

BIP 177 should have just proposed hiding the word "sats" from user interfaces instead of trying to redefine what Bitcoin is. Much simpler proposal that would probably have gotten full support from everybody. Sats is so much the standard that we don't need to explicitly say it anymore.

So, as far as I can tell, Gigaclear is a company with 2 staff who work from home, while their head office is empty except for the cleaner, who they forget to let go.

Meanwhile, the road digging and external fibre laying is a contractor. The home installation is a separate contractor and the support desk is run by AI with a couple of dudes in an Indian call centre to monitor it all.
