Walked by the field the other day and all the boys asked me when I was coming back 🥲

When I first got to CR, I joined a Sunday baseball league of Nicaraguans.

There were seven teams. And luckily I got in right at the start of the season, and managed to bring some gear from the states.

It was so fun dusting off the rust and playing every Sunday. Such a vibe. The whole community would come out to play and support.

The team made it to the championship series. But unfortunately, I had to bow out for work in the states.

I told them if there was a game seven, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

And what do you know.. a couple weeks later in the best of 7 series we were down 3-2.

So I grabbed some more gear and sent down in time to play the last couple games. We ended up winning in game 7 in extras.

Couldn’t have scripted it any better.

When hyperbitcoinization happens, I’d love to make them an epic field.

the computer shop hasn't figured it out yet and now they are closed for the weekend. maybe I should buy another nvme at the other computer shop (no service but open on weekends) and put it in my gaming rig and try to set up Debian on it. Just one slot so I can't refer to my old files yet.
