They just have to receive the key and start using it, it's completely handled by the client

But this looks to need acknowledgment from the user of accepting the new key? That’s gonna be problematic… if rotating keys is an essential (possibly daily or more) aspect of group management. Is this right?

I'm so excited about this. So much of our user research is showing that people want to the ability to have safer spaces where they decide who's invited. We see this with telegram channels, discord servers, signal groups, whatsapp groups... if we can make nostr work easily this way, we can combine the intimacy of chat groups with the flexible power of social media. nostr:note1wl89xp7ysxt0qwg8tas5smx8fvuzjm87vy8p0v84uj5fe8p53hls7p9yx7

But I do see a major UX challenge ahead in handling key rotations. Asking all members to (I’m not even sure…) confirm some dialogue every time a key is rotated? That’s not gonna work.

i watched this video, this is incredible. what do you think about deleting messages? time-based deletion and/or deletion by moderators. with that and what you have, we're skipping the moon and going straight to mars #groups

Timed deletion (post expiration) as an option for the group would give affordance for some level of “post compromise” security, yes? #skipthemoon

They could complement each other if we use both. Right now it’s possible to send reports but when receiving reports it doesn’t do anything with them yet. We could leverage WoT to decide which reports are relevant or not.
