For what it’s worth, none of the people accusing us of being criminals, liars, smooth talkers, or any of the other nonsense ever reach out to me directly. Not once. If they genuinely cared, they’d give me a call. But instead, they skip that part and post on Twitter, trying to boost themselves by tearing us down.

That’s not accountability. That's self-promotion dressed up as concern.

I’ve been dealing with this kind of thing for a while now. I’m used to it. But being the leader of some incredible people and watching them work so hard for Bitcoin, sometimes you have to open your nostr client and have their back.

The Strike team is world class. Don't trust all of the nonsense you read. A lot of people's recent marketing strategies are to shit on me and my businesses.

And for the people who know better working this event, ffs, you should have the willpower to not whore yourself out to an obviously retarded organization.

Anyone who takes money from organizations that don’t align with their values has sold out. Sad to see reputations destroyed for a little check and some fake clout.

Time and temptation continue to expose true character.

It feels like Bitcoin has finally crossed the Rubicon into the mainstream both a triumph and a tragedy.

Walking around the conference this year, you could easily mistake it for a fintech summit or SaaS expo in Vegas. Same blazers, same VC pitch decks, same awkward networking energy. The suitcoiners outnumber the cypherpunks by 100:1.

On one hand, this is what we fought for: global legitimacy, serious capital, institutional attention.

On the other, something’s been lost in translation. The raw edge, the revolutionary energy, the sense that we were building something against the system not polishing it up to sell it back to the system.

Bitcoin doesn’t feel quite as dangerous anymore.

It feels… professional. Predictable. “Respectable,” even.

Maybe that’s just the mask Bitcoin wears while it continues hollowing out the old world from within.

Either way, the vibe has shifted.
