How do I mute this user? He is muted, but he still appears. I can't stand politics or media, and I come to Nostr to avoid these themes, so I'd like to think that 'mute' means 'mute'. I have muted him, so now it offers me the choice to unmute him, but he still appears in my feed. WHY? Does anyone know? I love the mute button, so I want to know that it works.

I like the fact Zoom allows up to 50 guests in a live stream. But on the other hand, they built their business on schools during lockdown, and that pisses me off

I sympathize with Russia, and I am from the UK. I find mainstream media tone deaf on all wars that have ever happened, and I can't help notice that they cheer on war rather than peace.

I have a Ukrainian friend, and she teaches me Russian, as it's her native language. She lives in Kharkov, the second biggest city after Kiev. I get the impression that most citizens of Kharkov consider themselves Russian, as they are Russian speakers. She never talks of herself as a victim, although I know that the war has made life for her family far more difficult (and that is an understatement). Victims are inevitable, but thinking of yourself as a victim is not inevitable.
I don't mind exposing myself online 😃 . I work online, so my face has to be public. I have a mate who works in internet security, and he hasn't posted anything publicly for a decade at least. Nonetheless, I am proud of where I come from, what I've done, and who I am, so I don't mind telling people at all.

I cant imagine Russia accepting peace keepers from France or UK in Ukraine. I expect them to push on and capture Kharkov first - its the second biggest city in population and right on the border with Russia. Mostly Russian speaking, like many cities in Ukraine
