If I ever buy a painting, it would be to enjoy it, not as an investment. So a certificate wouldn't really be of value to me.
It's similar, but I don't think they are 100% comparable. Banks will end up adopting Bitcoin and offering Bitcoin services such as custody and loans to customers, whereas post offices couldn't really offer email to customers because it's so simple to use.

I listened to this talk. He goes on to say that you just should make the change each day, one day at a time. Because the idea of doing it for a whole year or whatever is much harder than one day. And that's exactly how we should view and live most aspects of our lives, one day at a time π
