so funny, this post reminds me of the messages you hear over the PAs at supermarkets calling a staff member to some counter or office.
i used to get asthma from Smirnoff Vodka.
rubbish grain alcohols made from certain types of grains or something, idk what... and the process, also idk what, but the distinctive thing was a nasty smell to it that i have thought of as being acetaldehyde.
if you have ever studied the business of alcohol fermentation and the stuff that ends up in the distillate depending on how you do it, you would be a lot more cautious about what you put into your body.
like that throat warming thing... that's not ethanol. that's literally isopropanol.
no but maybe its something that is going into the wrong domain and belongs in the transport layer.
the more people get comfortable with and skilled at running nodes the harder the networks get to break or censor.
sweet, not followed this guy closely but black francis is a genius...

progress report on nostr cryptographic keychain tooling project signr:
https://github.com/mleku/signr
v1.1.x branch is now complete, even has some tests on the cryptography, includes a full CLI for managing a simple, ssh-style keychain, signing arbitrary files and data blobs fed by pipe, and includes custom namespacing, defaults to using two layer secure signatures that always included the public key (npub, natch).
about to start work on v1.2.x branch, which will include the ability to sign bitcoin raw hex transactions with standard ECDSA segwit style signatures to enable anchoring published items to the chain, and other uses we haven't thought of yet.
we love the zim but pgp's too complicated.
git married itself to gpg, but now gpg has let us use ssh to do our signing AND authentication and it's much simpler.
next generation is gonna use nostr IDs which will be usable for anchoring things to the bitcoin chain and broadcasting across the nostr network.
we all know fiatjaf is a bit of a flake, but what his work proves is that the right answer isn't so far from the naive implementation.
old school devs were so inculcated in the complexity of unix and C that they didn't realise how far it was from human cognition.
the nostr dgaf, just like it's grossfahrter bitcoin and padre lightning.
the early adopters stick like nano-glue and intentionally don't care about DAU because ... VC money is blood money, and all of that is anyway gonna end up harvesting user metadata for the NSA.
stop asking questions about getting the people who won't be loyal to try and manufacture a fad that will be over next year and won't matter in the big picture or long arc.
how non-technical users feel when publishing on snort, nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac

haha. so karnage = snort.
figures.
i started there but coracle has been my daily driver for most of my 3 months nostr career so far. nostr:nprofile1qqsf03c2gsmx5ef4c9zmxvlew04gdh7u94afnknp33qvv3c94kvwxgspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9rhwden5te0wfjkcctev93xcefwdaexwtcpr3mhxue69uhkx6rjd9ehgurfd3kzumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tctty609 is the most personable, responsive and meticulous nostr app dev out there right now.
golang bitcoin dev available for work!
been working with the btcd/btcwallet codebase since 2018 ( https://github.com/p9c/p9 ), and most recently developing the indra network protocol ( https://github.com/indra-labs/indra ).
i am very experienced with elliptic curves, hash functions, forward error correction, network handlers, scheduling, difficulty adjustment, deterministic execution, concurrency, CLI interfaces, gRPC/Protobuf, libp2p, IPv4 multicast over UDP, binary and ASCII encoding systems.
currently working on a nostr signing CLI/library ( https://github.com/mleku/signr ) which included taking the btcd/btcec elliptic curve package and consolidating the stuff they use from decred (btcd has decred code included in it, for schnorr signatures!) in https://github.com/mleku/ec which anyone can use to avoid pulling down the whole btcd codebase and importing decred's elliptic curve package.
willing to work with Rust codebases but more likely to make a persuasive argument that you should not use Rust because rust is spook funded mozilla trash, and the Go libraries needed are far more mature and battle tested.
all silo filters work like this. the selection is then merged through the filter to favour the political agendas that are most friendly to the silo, as regards to your profile. if you are enemy of the politics, they bore you and show repetitive bullcrap and filter out most of your follows.
so i would suggest that this person is probably profiled as being against the dominant political ally of zuck.
there stupid in 'murica thanks to the most funded education system in history. they can't of figured out the difference between pronouns and preposition and don't seem to know about 'contractions' either or they would of not said any of these deliberate grammatical errors i just made in this paragraph/sentence to ridicule them.
i have not seen more than maybe 1 out of 12 americans type correct english grammar. even people who otherwise appear to possess a fair degree of intelligence. clearly there was nothing being taught in their "english" classes.
also the most funded medical system in the world and they are fatter and sicker than anyone else.
more money = less quality.
the 'murican way.
i should probably add that the americans who i found to have the best language skills were southerners, south eastern, even: texans, georgians, floridans.
it's embarrassing to english speakers in the rest of the world, nobody is as poorly educated in their own language than americans.

I fucking love the landscape mode on nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg ; in totally going to copy that landscape design on my next app
now if only the keyboard layout was also sane to go with it.
i had a dream this morning... probably something to do with the bone broth i drank relatively late last night.
in the dream i was kidnapped by this group of three cops. i was cooperating for a while and at some point it just clicked to me, that i had to just try to get away.
off i went, and they didn't follow.
never forget, the righteous have a special power of being left alone when they are falsely accused. you just have to claim it, that's the difficult part.
the wicked don't have this, once they are caught in accusations they usually end up dead.
