when i see the word 'skeet' other than mosquto and shooting clay disks i see this:

you aren't going to have users pick anything because that's handled by the detached signer, eg alby.
login?
that's not how this thing works. you don't need to log in. you just sign events and publish them.
i am of the opinion that nostr is not going to be the only social network tied to bitcoin and lightning.
mainly because the people championing the project and marketing it to investors are constantly actively attacking the protocol, the protocol itself is severely underspecified, and the number of ways in which it will be exploited is probably unlimited.
others will build new systems, but it will be harder to get adoption because of the costs involved in getting it built, and the expectation of most investors to have some near term yield on their investment.
but just as out of the mess of edonkey, gnutella, and bittorrent, eventually bittorrent rose to be the defining filesharing system, there will be a winner for bitcoin based social network.
i am going to take a big step back from nostr. i have built things for it but without any money backing me i'm pissing in the wind.
the tl;dr is: no
a brief search for information shows me a few important facts about gpg keys:
firstly, what's stored in your ~/.gnupg folder is more than one key, it is an auth key (for signing) and an encryption key (used with ECDH key negotiation),
it is complicated.
there does not appear to be a simple tool to just get the raw 32 byte secret for an elliptic curve private key, either auth or encryption.
gnupg/PGP is an overly complex and outdated cryptographic key system.
the SSH keys are less complex but don't include secp256k1 in the list of EC key options (only the near relative P256).
conversely, nostr is an underspecified, and insecure protocol that doesn't do sufficient things to make sure that glaring errors are done by app writers with keys, and there is no central keychain CLI apart from the one i wrote, which isn't adopted by anyone, and mine was only designed for general signing of files, and uses a custom signing protocol which is properly secure.
so, currently no, but in theory i could write a tool that extracts the auth key and turns it into a nostr key, this would not be difficult to add to https://github.com/mleuk/signr
i'd take donations to add this feature! haha.
thanks to kellogg millions and millions of babies in the USA have body parts harvested and they are now being processed into food flavorings in soft drinks and sold to rich women as facial treatments. also, he was involved in the popularisation of corn and soy as dietary staples in general, and now that's what all the animals are being fed as well.
not only was he a fraud, the stupid fucknig lying "prophet" ellen white was a total fraud as well.
i was raised in this cult. i have all the scars.
main thing that changed in the last 30 years is feeding animals on soy and corn, everything containing rapeseed oil, HFCS (from corn) and soy in general in everything, everything low in saturated fat, and everyone surrounded by wireless radios in the 1-5ghz microwave band, and bathed in light high in blue and ultraviolet with a constant 50 or 60hz flicker.
i'm sure there's no connection between these things though. because The Science said so.
and that is all mandatory to have children, ofc. otherwise you will be put in jail and your children separated from you and put in foster homes to provide meat for our benefactors.
yeah, i always forget the soy. it's in there too, it's just the corn smell is unmistakable. i hate soy. it wasn't as bad then as it is now though.
i was raised on a very large proportion of soy, chickpeas and oats as a child, and it stunted my development, feminised me. probably the only thing that stopped me being weak and lethargic was the 1-2L of milk that i drank most days.
ironically now also my mother her primary foods are roast chicken and pan fried lamb. she also blew up her gall bladder with cholesterol from peanuts. so i have some clear warnings about things i should be avoiding.
i'm back to the milk now. it's the only thing that isn't triggering a whole constellation of inflammatory, painful and nerve damage symptoms i've been getting real bad for the last year. stopped drinking alcohol, mostly cut out caffeine, no smoking. it is just lucky that it's also one of the cheapest foods i can get since i'm so poor at the moment.
the frustrating thing is when you then try to find the foods for this diet they are not there, the meat is all glued together junk, laced with nitrites, the animals producing the meat, milk and eggs all fed on the very same corn, which you can taste in everything, the livers smell like corn, the steaks smell like corn when you stew them. it's almost like they are trying to force everyone to eat this seed based diet.
and you have to go through a huge long questionaire and waitlist to get one.
which also means that you are better off doing business without corporate registrations, since they are just putting a bulls-eye on the back of your head.
Love you guys nostr:npub1exv22uulqnmlluszc4yk92jhs2e5ajcs6mu3t00a6avzjcalj9csm7d828 but once it works need a rebrand as well and I will try again.
the cli, desktop and android versions work fine.
the bug is the apple phone.
two stroke isn't diesel. it's gasoline with an oil additive to keep the cylinders lubricated.
nothing is as it seems.
though generally the bad guys look sleek, sexy, and wear lots of black, and the good guys tend to dress like beggars.
also, gpg support of secp256k1 signatures is not widely recognised by apps that handle gpg indirectly, such as git and key managers like kleopatra or seahorse.
nostr:npub1mwgj27h00mhezvudunzaueuan0jaxn9stxnmt9sq830rtd9qk4jq8hafwc why doesn't nostr just use gpg for key pair version? And what encryption scheme does it use?
gpg can support secp256k1 keys since some time but only ecdsa, not schnorr like nostr. BIP-340 keys are used with nostr. not only schnorr but the pubkeys are shortened from 257 to 256 bits by omitting the odd, ie, the lowest significant bit is chopped off. if the secret generates a pubkey with an odd pubkey it is negated to get the other one which will be even.
the secret can be the exact same, but the public key and the signatures are not.
