Out of curiosity (I’ll admit I’ve done zero GPU programming), is this something that could be better done faster on a GPU rather than a CPU since it’s just doing lots of simple and repetitive hashes?

I read through a couple articles about the information he uses and it’s completely public and easy to access. The bot is not making Elon Musk unsafe because anyone could go and get the information for themselves.

The wonderful part about Nostr though is that an individuals feelings don’t come above another person’s free speech. Unless someone does something illegal you only have the choice to not listen to them.

It takes a moment to get working. You’ll need to first manually set up some relays and check read and write on them. Then pull your contact list. Finally once you have Gossip find all the relays that will cover your follow list everything works perfectly.

True, but two things.

1. WASM helps with that in the browser

2. It still takes a moment natively. If you’re trying to send out hundreds of events a second it’ll make that impossible

I was looking through some raw JSON of old notes and was confused for a few moments by a long string of random letters and numbers I had sent before I realized it was a LN invoice. Those were mind blowingly fast when I first tried them. We’ve come a long ways. Now even having to switch apps to send sats is starting to seem a little tedious.
