It’s POSSIBLE I replied to you via Primal and that’s the issue…

I use pretty popular Relays and also sync to Damus and Primal caches, I try to stick to WOT relays so maybe that’s where the delay happened 🤷‍♂️

Up early again, that’s the way I like it—except the reasons being nurse to the other three members of the house 🤧🤕🤢

Not sure how much work I’ll get done today but I will try my best 💪

I finished one project yesterday, revamping and setting our son up for this next season of what we term Purpose Path.

It involves 5 C’s that most would actually do well to adhere to. 🤔

Instead of memorizing a bunch of rote facts, we encourage the following Mission:

I Pursue God-given purpose daily through the 5 C's:

• Be Curious about the past, present, and future; exploring ideas to gain knowledge, wisdom, and discernment.

• Create value for myself, family, and community by honing skills in creativity, contribution, and commerce.

• Cultivate life and resiliency to strengthen body, mind, and spirit for adventure and leadership.

This year, each quarter I’ve been leading a cohort of about 24 people each, through Faith Driven Investing.

It’s been a great opportunity to introduce these people to Bitcoin in a casual and non-pushy manner.

It just becomes a natural flow of the conversation and not an agenda item we camp on.

It comes up a few times over 6 weeks and usually by the second passing comment I make about Bitcoin, someone from the group messsges me asking to know more about Bitcoin!

I just saw an ad for island .io yesterday, it was explained as the “browser for business”

Since the workstation tool (browser) that I had used for years was recently sunset, the ad piqued my interest.

Well…it’s really an enterprise browser that IT gets to control…can’t do a single thing unless it’s permissioned.

I get it. Having been an IT Director in years past, security is important.

But as a society we’ve gone overboard and I think has less to do with increased risks and more to do with reduced self leadership.

We’ve abdicated our personal responsibilities to others.

This is why KYC is now the norm.

There’s a private entity I was recently appointed the leader of and due to its private structure, getting a bank account has become a nusaince (not impossible but frustrating).

Thankfully there are several work arounds now. Penultimately, Bitcoin.

Hitting bank account road blocks has given me empathy for the unbanked and the desire to talk about Bitcoin as the solution.

Good glorious morning leaders (and Nostriches)!

It started when I was young, getting up before first light to go hunting or fishing.

It continued in my teenage years when I had to be up early for Jazz Band rehearsal (first down beat was 05:30)…

It got a little wonky in my 20’s as the music world, or more aptly years of school before didn’t do a good job of preparing you for being a musician—sleep schedule wise—05:30 down beats became head on pillow cause you just finished your gig a couple hours before.

Now as an adult, some might say by age but not maturity 🤔 🤣, I love waking before the sun comes up.

In one regard it’s like a mini challenge, can I beat the sun rising?

But truth be told, I find I get my best work done before the rest of the world wakes.

There is a silence, a stillness (except the bugs here in Florida), and an opportunity to work on myself before I pour into others.

That’s the real reason I think waking early is mission critical to leaders.

How can we possibly give from an empty cup? We can’t!

(For if we try, that’s called burnout…)

It depends on how private one wants to be.

I use Brave browser on all my Apple products. This at least partially anonymizing and obscures me.

I have a paid BitDefender VPN which I use in public WiFi settings.

I found Orbot to be too slow for me. But it’s a good free option and honestly for the infrequent use of a vpn (due to apps I run don’t like vpn) I will probably stop paying for BitdefenderVPN premium and switch to Orbot at renewal time

(Might as well recapture and reallocate those funds to sats!)

We were having sugar ant problems in the kitchen and cupboard so we moved the honey to the fridge.

Over the course of a few weeks the honey turned almost white-ish, similar to Manuka Honey.

Meanwhile the homemade honey cough syrup (honey, onion, and garlic) that we make with the same honey didn’t do this while in the fridge.

I wonder if you’ve ever seen that and is it as simple as the sugar Crystal bursting / freezing so to speak and so they won’t ever return to the dark honey color?

I also wonder if this is a trick some “Manuka” honey scammers use…just refrigerate or freeze regular honey to sell knockoff Manuka 🤷‍♂️

I think now is optimal time to stack.

Once one is 25-50% of the way to a full Bitcoin standard, then maybe consider using a few percent towards the circular economy.

Meanwhile systems like Fold help this though. Put fiat on a pre-paid debit card and spend fiat whilst earning sats.

I think that makes more sense (for me at least) than forcing sat based purchased prematurely.
