How the fuck do I unsubscribe from this? I'm on primal, and this asshole is all over my feed, and I can't find how to get rid of him/them/whatever. What's with this interface, and why does it want me to never use nostr every again?
RIF was definitely better, but it also allowed for ad blocking. Reddit yanked the API so that it could force people to see ads.
What alternative did you have in mind?
God is not a verb in either of those three sentences.
You have no idea what you're talking about. The "program" you download is a compiled binary, not the source code, and anyway, source files take up very little "memory".
"Alright" isn't actually a word. I learned that in high school.
BTC is not currently at 400K, so, not the same thing. Don't be illogical.
Only in a fuzzy-brain way. If you actually want to describe intentionality, the word you want is purposely.
The word is "purposely".
There is no opting out of economics and economic choice except through death. You may not like specific institutions such as private property or labor, but choosing to not engage in them simply excludes you from larger, more productive circles of economic activity. If you are alive and you strive to remain alive, you are bound to seek to survive through the tools of economizing action. Everyone engages in economizing acts every day of their lives without having to learn economics. But learning economics can help the mind consciously understand the importance of acts in which it engages, and how complex structures and institutions emerge from them. While learning economics is not necessary for economizing, which is a natural function of our reason, it is necessary for the fostering and survival of an extended market order in which humans are able to economize freely, cooperate with one another, and prosper. Individuals are capable of engaging in market transactions but can lose sight of their importance, resulting in political structures that suppress this type of economic action, with devastating consequences.

Friend, have you heard the good news about paragraphs?
I felt like it died when the old man said "You are not serious people!". That kind of ended the chase.
I simply deferred to a much better debater, someone who has addressed all of your points directly. How you think that makes me uneducated is a mystery.
And the point of life is for it to go on. That's evolution, my guy! We are here because we survived. It's not that complicated. What's "silly" is thinking you need a god to explain what science has already gotten right.
Where did I say I'm uneducated? I've been thinking and reading about this matter for decades.
Of course, if you're unconvinced by Hitchens's arguments (or unwilling to hear them), then this discussion is pointless.
This is all fairly uneducated with regard to atheism. I suggest you YouTube Christopher Hitchens. He addressed your arguments much better than I ever could.
Love Mark Moss, but he fumbled the ball on the conversation about religion with nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx hard to watch.
The point I think he wanted to make was that atheistās moral code is made up by each individual since what is good vs evil is subjective with that worldview.
Gotta love atheists that give absolutely 0 credit to religion/God on helping shape their own moral code.
nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx have Michael Knowles on your show, he can properly explain the silliness of atheism.
How are atheists silly? I don't understand your point.
Agnostics are atheists. It's the same thing. In theory, there is such a thing as a "gnostic atheist", but I've never actually encountered one. It's basically a unicorn.
