One of the biggest reasons people don't succeed is because they don't know what they want. Yes, everyone wants a lot of money, an attractive partner and so on, but what's your priority? What do you really want? Those other desires, the *results* are generally very vague and therein lies the problem. Your goals are not specific enough and your vision not clear.

That's why you lack passion. Because it hasn't come from you, it's come from envy of others.

Could you elaborate on not having a risk to be regulated? Why do you think that is so?

I'm with you, I think it comes in different flavours, circular economies, autonomous regions, break away countries, island nations or something like El Salvador

I think the country play is a bit tougher because your ass can be voted out along with your plans, maybe if its a monarch where someone wants to stay in power for generations a Bitcoin standard becomes attractive

Will be interesting to see this thing in the multi-trillion market range, where early holders have so much combined purchasing power and singular focus, could they purchase land from countries and outcompete the local government? Its a possibility

Had an incredible ride home with a guy from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He was insistent on just calling it Congo. I do not know enough to even come close to opining on that. He was shocked that I knew about the French Franc or had even heard of the country. A Bitcoin conversation ensued and ended up with me sending him 10k sats to a Muun wallet. We had a long talk about how this is a way to send money back to his family there,

and about the perils of government money printing. Blown away by the entire ride and conversation. He thanked me multiple times and said, “God bless you” over and over. What an experience.

I don’t think that is accurate. Lightning you hold keys to actual Bitcoin and can always unilaterally force it back to the Bitcoin base chain. Liquid you have no actual Bitcoin keys. You cannot force on chain. You have to ask permission to go onchain. You have an IOU on a totally separate and unrelated blockchain that federation can refuse to honor at any time. I don’t think that is more secure or more protective of loss.

What is the US clampdown on the Bitcoin/crypto world is part of the plan to push election candidates with an apparent pro-Bitcoin stance because let's be fair, we all know Biden wont be there for "four more years".

Or, the clampdown is a coincidence and campaign managers see an opportunity to pull voters into their camp. Either way, making promises during an election and then actual fulfilling them is two different things. We all know that.

Good thing satoshi is anon , he'd probably call for his head on a platter (despite his own calls for disruption, calling the decisons of 2008 and covid bad, and advice to young to drink and make bad decisions--which reminded me of the "no jimmy!" meme where jimmy immediately takes money handed to him and feeds the bitcoin atm :)

When you explain that there are people with levels of wealth that enables them to engineer geopolitical events in order to make money, many people “ that can’t exist” because it’s something they never considered, and it frightens them.

But there are people, and families, who engineer booms and collapses to increase their wealth.

In fact, it’s my belief that the Soros family is in the process of trying to collapse San Francisco so they, and they’re tech friends can buy it up and turn it into a Smart City.
