It’s the UK election next month and it drives me insane watching politicians whip up so much anger about things that don’t really matter. The money is fundamentally broken yet nobody talks about it, even if it’s the cause of so many societal issues. This year, instead of raging about pledges and who to vote for, I’m just going to contribute to the #bitcoin and #nostr ecosystems. Those will be the lifeboats for people when the existing system inevitably worsens. #election #politics

Ok, this is a bit of a noob question. Lemme explain...

If my lightning channel starts off like this:

10000 <------> 10000

Then, looks like this:

10000 <------> 40000

Then, I rebalance to this:

20000 <------> 20000

Does that mean, in theory, I can crawl my channel capacity to be increasingly bigger channels, instead of just opening a large channel?

Or, does it mean that step 2 can never happen, because step one is limited by its inbound value?

Every time someone explains that #Bitcoin isn't a good currency because the state can't create more of it to fund its emergency spending, I buy more #Bitcoin .

You can also use cheap energy to increase productivity which helps millions, or billions of people. This is also 'fighting' for what you believe in but w/o the warheads.

They want pumped bags in order to retire. I want circular economies in order to be sovereign. We're not the same

One day in the not so distant future communists will claim that #bitcoin was unfairly distributed.
